We welcome guest submissions to our blog. We are especially interested in contributions from any disciplinary background that highlight new research on middle classes in both, the historical past and the present age and in both, the global North and the global South. These can come in the form of book reviews or short pieces which, on the basis of narrating a particular case, draw wider theoretical and methodological conclusions relevant for our field. We also welcome announcements of conferences, conference reports and descriptions of ongoing projects. Submissions must be in English and fall into the range of 500 to 1,200 words. They can also be accompanied by appropriate high-resolution illustrations or pictures, for which you must hold or have obtained the rights, unless they are in the public domain.
